The risks of demographic change in the Kurdistan Region and the Kurdistani areas outside the region's administration, along with discussions on joint projects and the Vision Foundation's work in this field,were the main topics of a meeting between the Head of the General Board of Kurdistani Areas Outside the Region's Administration and the Vision Foundation.

On Monday, September 13, 2026, Fahmi Burhan, Head of the General Board of Kurdistani Areas Outside the Kurdistan Region's Administration, visited the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies. They discussed potential joint projects and collaborative efforts that both parties could undertake in the future.

Another part of the dialogue focused on the issue of demographic change, its threats, and the steps to prevent this phenomenon. Fahmi Burhan pointed out that their board has significantly benefited from the research and work conducted by the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies regarding the risks of demographic change.

Previously, the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies had addressed the risks of demographic change in the Kurdistan Region through various analyses, research papers, and focus groups from multiple perspectives, striving to present appropriate scientific solutions to mitigate these threats.
