The Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies and the Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Spain discussed ways to strengthen coordination between non-governmental organizations and official institutions, with the aim of further promoting cooperation, developing joint initiatives, and creating more opportunities for collaboration in the sectors and fields in which the Vision Foundation operates.

Darawan Haji Hamid, Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Spain, visited the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies, where he presented the work and programs of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Spain over the past three years, as well as its relations and coordination with official and non-official institutions in Spain and its different regions.

The meeting took place on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, and addressed the various relations and areas that the Kurdistan Region should develop with the international community, particularly with Spain.

The discussions also focused on ways to strengthen coordination between non-governmental organizations, particularly the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies. The KRG Representative in Spain expressed appreciation for and recognition of the efforts and activities carried out by the Vision Foundation.

The Vision Foundation team, for its part, presented its work plans and activities at various levels. The meeting reflected a shared interest in developing joint initiatives and creating further opportunities for cooperation within the sectors and fields in which the Foundation is active.

It was agreed to further expand and strengthen relations between Spanish non-governmental organizations and government institutions and the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies, with the support and facilitation of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Spain.
