Tehran, May 17, 2025 – The annual Tehran Dialogue Forum (TDF) 2025 opened with convening senior policymakers, diplomats, and thought leaders from across Eurasia for three days of high-level discussion on regional security, economic development, and multilateral cooperation. Running from May 17–19, the Forum will feature more than 20 panels, workshops, and plenary sessions designed to tackle pressing geopolitical challenges—from energy security to cultural exchange.
Mr. Adnan Osman, President of the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies (VFSS), is the only think-tank representative from KRI invited to participate in TDF 2025. He joins ministers, senior officials, and leading academics to share VFSS’s evidence-based research and policy recommendations.
At the TDF, Adnan Othman, met with His Excellency Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region. They explored ways to enhance the participation of Kurdistan’s institutions in regional and international forums. Mr. Othman then outlined the Foundation’s key strategic plans and upcoming initiatives, to which President Barzani warmly welcomed the establishment of Vision Foundation’s research center in Sulaimani, pledging his full support and coordination to ensure the success of its projects.
Launched in 2019 by Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in partnership with leading research institutions, TDF aims to foster mutual understanding, strengthen diplomatic ties, and produce actionable policy guidance for the region.
